1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Portico, including our website, web application, and Portico Connector on computers and phones (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
2. The Service
Portico provides software for short-term rental operators to connect Booking.com and Airbnb accounts, manage properties, calendars, guest communication, and related operational workflows. Features may change as we improve the product.
You are responsible for ensuring your use of Portico complies with the terms and policies of Booking.com, Airbnb, and any other platforms you connect.
3. Accounts & security
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your Portico login and workspace access.
- Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
4. Booking.com and Airbnb logins
When you add a Booking.com or Airbnb account and choose to save the login, you ask Portico to store that username (or email) and password on our servers, encrypted at rest. You authorize us to send those credentials only to Portico Connector apps you install and link to your workspace — including this computer, another computer, iPhone, and Android — so Connector can sign you in and keep the session current without asking you to type the password again.
You confirm you have the right to share those platform credentials with Portico. We use them solely to operate your workspace (sign-in, session refresh, listing, calendar, and message sync). We do not sell them. You can replace or remove a saved login by updating or deleting the connected account in Settings. Removing the account deletes the stored password from Portico.
Connector signs in with a normal browser window (not a headless browser). The window may be minimized or kept in the background. If Booking.com or Airbnb asks for a text code, captcha, or other extra check, Connector brings the window forward so you can complete it.
You remain responsible for complying with Booking.com and Airbnb terms. Platform verification codes may be relayed through Connector on a paired phone only to finish a sign-in you have already started.
5. Subscriptions & billing
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis unless cancelled. Prices are shown at checkout and may include applicable taxes. Trials convert to paid plans unless cancelled before the trial ends. Refunds are handled according to the plan selected at signup and applicable consumer law.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes.
- Attempt to bypass platform security, rate limits, or access controls.
- Reverse engineer or resell the Service except as expressly permitted.
- Upload malware or interfere with other users' workspaces.
7. Data & privacy
Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of your operational data. You grant Portico a limited license to host, process, and display that data solely to provide the Service.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." Portico does not guarantee uninterrupted sync with third-party platforms. We are not a party to your guest bookings or platform agreements.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Portico and its suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data arising from your use of the Service.
10. Termination
You may cancel at any time through account settings or by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms or if required by law.
